I dunno if any of you guys remember me asking about fitting power steering to my dads corsa ? Anyway he now fancies fitting a turbo diesel. I am thinking about this one: http://www.bath.ac.uk/~ccsshb/12cyl/
I would appreciate any advice before I go ahead ! Has anyone fitted this engine, if so are there any major modifications ? I.e. will the engine mounting brackets need moving and will it mate to a standard 5 speed corsa gearbox ? Any advice is most welcome !

Looking at that i think you definately got room to fit the 12 cylinder, might need to chop the bulk head, unless you can get a power cap from mantzel, saves pissing about i got some drive shafts that will fit that off me old mans oil tanker, might even be able to get ya a 100'000'000 watt alternator, i will look in the ship yard and try and crane one over.
If ya need any help u2u me

Thanks for the advice guys, I expect I will have to beef up the front suspension with some stiffer springs to cope with the extra weight ?

1. the engine mounts are totally different to the petrols
2. the wiring lomb is totally different to the petrols as they arent ecu controlled

3. u will need to empty out the fuel tank, also the petrol fuel tank has a fuel pump in it which the td one doesnt so that wont be any good, just buy a td corsa
