i just had a bit of a rag with a turbed diesel escort i didnt think t wud b as quick as my golf. but not that slow.........
i thought TD were meant to b quick?

that ford engine is quite possibly the most wank diesel engine after the shite old vaux 1.7 td as fitted in early cavs and astars.
its not quick by any stroke of the imagination.

yep can vouch for the vag diesels, get to "road test" them all the time, pretty damn quick for oil burners!!

fair enough just the twat drivin had a big turbo sticker across his back window with blue neons n wat i think looked like xr31 alloys (cud b wrong tho).

no i said the old vauxhall td not the isuzu one.

im talking about the lowblow one that looksed like the 1.2 and 1.4 8v engines.

no the 2.5 V6 is ok but it is not fitted in any small car though.

it is actually, well it was, fitted in a mk4 golf.
