I've got a legacy 1 farad cap, in the instructions it says put a negative to ground from negative on cap then get power wire and hold the little bulb with fingers between wire and positive terminal on cap then the light will light up when cap is charged or summat like that.

Now, am i a big wimp or does the thought of putting my fingers as part of a circuit sound a little scary??

Is that really how it's done??

NOOO you will get electricuted, the best way to do is put some water on the floor, then take off you shoes and socks, stand in the puddle, then with the engine running touch both positive and negative terminals, you wont feel a thing!

Mate just hold the bulb between thumb and finger, then place it between the cable and the terminals until the bulb comes on, simple as.
