i have a neon and put the plug into the cig lighter and it is int working but ive tried it in my mates car and it does what does any one suggest

take out the ashtray, - 4 screws. Unplug the wiring out the back of the fag lighter. Chop it. Buy a connecting block, ram original wire and wire off neon in one side, do the same wiv the other wires. hey presto.
