a car wouldnt start at all would it? And certainly not run....

Depends on how many were wrong. If all of them then it wont. But if it's only 2 then it'll be lumpy, but may still turn over.

what car?

some dispacks fire 2 at the same time, so if you have those opposite it will still run fine.
a car will run on 3 cyl, if its on 2 cyl it will usually fire then cut out.

Usually it'll run yeah with 2 wrong.
Ive drove my old engine when it was missing on 2 cylinders(damaged leads)
and it ran/drove
Just very poorly.

If all four were wrong, it wouldn't run.

just wondering whether my plugs are th wrong order after the build....

whats the order on c20xe's?

i know plugs are 1,2,3,4 left to right, but which ports am i pluggin them to on the dis? (theyre not labelled either )

1 - 4 - 3 - 2 is the fireing order.

i went over what you posted and i was using my fingers as a crankshaft like yeh it is 1342

plug one to 1, 2 to 3, 3 to 4 and 4 to 2?

which way do you count the dizzy?

if you look really really close its marked on the dizzy there just really hard to see

if only the fucking dizzy on that diagram had the numbers. gnar have a peer when i next go out as mines not in a circle, is more square layout of the pins if you get me so is hard to count round.

2431 then and the middle one will be the one to the coil then. u do have a standard c20xe dizzy i take it

i dont really understand whats so hard about it all. connect 1-1 2-2 3-3 4-4. just look at the dizzy and will have number on it and which ever number it says for each one connect it to that cylinder.

2 goes at the top of the dizzy from plug 2 4 goes 2nd one down then the coil lead then 3 goes 4th one down and 1 goes on the last one
