Yeah I would have thought your bank can put a trace and find out the source of the money... Sounds like someone's given you some cash by mistake! :lol: | |

a work for a bank mate - just get a letter signed by the bank to say they put it in, you have checked with them that it is yours and that they do not have an interest in it and will not attempt to claim it at a later date. once the letter is signed, they cant touch that money | |

Get them to sign something stating it's your money. If not then they can ask you to repay the cash so I wouldn't go taking it out until your sure. | |

I'm self employed and the only "refund" I can think of would be a tax rebate, but surely the bank would know if it came from the Inland Revenue. | |
