I cant col, the chimney breast runs up the middle of the wall, so am using the alcoves on either side of it as recessed wardrobe bits with hanging rail and shelves. Good idea thou, might see if theres a way round it but i doubt it :( | |

Stick it into one corner & put either shelfs on the 3ft gap. | |

If you put up a frame the fix MDF to it and then skim / paint it will look ok...:thumbs: | |

I had spotlights hard wired to a pull string switch in my old room at mum & dads.....wasnt hard to rig up. | |

Don't use MDF, build a small section of stud walling will look alot better. | |

You can get battery push lights off/on but they are crap in my eyes... | |

Fitting a built in wardrobe in the next couple of weeks, i have 3 large mirrored doors and the tracks, only problem is i bought them second hand (ebay... £30 :lol: ) and my rooms about 3 foot wider than what i have, so the plan is to build a frame, with a foot and a half of MDF on each side so it looks ok (will paint the mdf white i think, or do somthing with it to posh it up a bit!) |
