ive just got a rock structure in mine. Seems to do them well as they have been living with it for the last few years. However I have had 3 lake malawi for two years then all of a sudden one of them started attacking the others :o

The hill behind my house has alot of limestone outcrops and there is also a bit thats been quarried but then left in a big pile for years. So went up there with a rucksack and borrowed them :look:

Yeah it will look alot better with more rock in there. Going to leave the left hand side of the tank as it is and carry on building on top and off to the right till it meets with the filter then round the filter a bit but not all the way up. Can only get so much rock at a time as I can only carry a certain amount

Going to try and build up some more rock around the filter housing to hide it abit and also give them more places to hide.

Only got 2 Red Zebra's for now. Will get a couple more in about 2 weeks. I will get another female (as thats what these are I think) and a male. Males are a nice blue colour. |
