Is there a need to declare the camera? Normally individual items above £1000 that need declared in any home insurance I've had. | |

You would receive the latest XXXD canon camera or the equivalent price for that. So, why not just place the book value down that you would have bought it for as new? | |

Looking at the table at the bottom of the page on Wikipedia found here you're probably looking at perhaps a 650D or 700D that's if I'm reading this right. | |

So looks like I will be moving house and need my own contents insurance. Need the camera covered under valuables but struggling to put a price on it. |
