	Is there a need to declare the camera? Normally individual items above £1000 that need declared in any home insurance I've had.

	The EOS 650 did come out in 1987 but is a film camera! The 650D is a completely different thing, scroll to the very bottom for a timeline :)

	Keeps going to the app so not showing properly for me. Says the 650D was 1987 or there abouts. Mine was new 5 years ago for my 21st :lol:

	Looking at the table at the bottom of the page on Wikipedia found here you're probably looking at perhaps a 650D or 700D that's if I'm reading this right. [Edited on 22-04-2014 by andy1868]

	So looks like I will be moving house and need my own contents insurance. Need the camera covered under valuables but struggling to put a price on it. I have a Canon EOS 450D with kit 18-55mm lens and Tamron 70-300mm lens. I know the 450D was superseded by the 500D but that was some time ago. What would the equivalent 450D be now so I can put a price on it? P.S. have tried Google but didn't help.
