What do you mean exposing by +2 +4 +6 -2 -4 -6 ? how do I know where actual 0 is and where +6 / -6 is (and the exposures in between?

how do you do HDR though, what do you adjust?

exposure settings, either with a multiple exposures or editing a single raw file and manually adjusting them usually in steps +2 +4 +6, -2 -4 -6 from perfect exposure.

you then use photomatrix or photoshop to do it.

or you can merge images by eye using layers.:)

True HDR requies 9-11 seperate exposures to capture every last ounce of detail in the shadows and highlights. RAW only give you 2 stops either way which isn't really enough but can look pleasing.

yeah, also true HDR is 32bit but most monitors dont support 32bit.
