Now Virgin wont support it if anything goes wrong. Would you like some step by step instructions on how to copy the mac address onto the cisco box?
You come out with some rubbish to make yourself look good. Anyone bit a bit of knowlege must piss themselves laughing at your comments at times. Please explain why virgin will not support ANYTHING that goes wrong? This is a simple router that is using the original modem, the modem not requiring any configuration. It is a simple job of connecting the PC they have back up to the modem if in future they have any problems prior speaking with Virgin.
Same as sky. If you dont use there kit they wont support it. They shouldn't need a router as the hub should have an ethernet connection. Unless they need wireless then a cheapy netgear would do, no need to go ott with a cisco for a home connection.
