Ok will do.

I do normally fully de-charge the battery unless I know i'm going to be using the computer for a while.

I plugged my charger into my laptop like I normally do before I switch it on, got to the main screen and its saying plugged in not charging :| and has stayed at 98% for over 30 minutes now, after a quick scout about on google nothing specific has come up mainly vista bios and quite common :boggle: can anyone help with this ie a simple fix or is it a warranty jobby?

Its a Acer Aspire 5735z about 7/8 weeks old also I don't have a second battery to test.
