I doubt that bt connect is using OWA so you could forget the exchange bit, more than likely find the address needed on the btconnect FAQ's

Didn't work, just going to forward the emails, easier tbh

Thinking about it, I guess I could forward all incoming emails from his private to his business :look:

Thanks dude, there's already an outlook open and working though.

You can have multiple accounts and select them, when I try to add this accound it doesn't work.

Basically the client is a chap who has his business email set up on his phone, under his business URL. He also wants his private account set up in the same way.

just been talking to my boss alex as he knows more than me, he says to make sure the blackberry has been provisioned for enterprise use, you'll have to make sure with your service provider. it may give you the option to use exchange but it will never work without it.

the other key factor is on the exchange server, the blackberry enterprise software needs to be installed on top of exchange for it to talk to the blackberry properly

i don't really understand much about it, just telling you what he said to me ;)

Their are two blackberry set ups as far as i am aware.

One of our customer blackberreis screwed up so i set exchange to forward a copy of the e-mail to his phone.

Whittie

Yeah they do, there's two options, pop3 or outlook.

Do blackberrys not connect up to exchange servers, not just normal pop3 accounts?

Whittie

Is the email account your trying to access an inhouse company one (work email) one or a pop3 account i.e bob@hotmail.com?

Didn't work.

The mailbox name appears to be part of the link it tries to get it from. I just put "Ian" (Guy who's phone it is) and it didn't work.

Tried inbox / exhange / mail / mailbox :(

Got a username and password from outlook express.

Settings it wants: Username / Password / Outlook Web Access URL / Mailbox name

Settings I should put it...
Username: Part of the email address before the @?
Password: ********* - Self explanitory
Outlook Web Access URL: Would this be something like http://exchange.btconnect.com/exchange ??
Email address: example@btconnect.com

Little help please :)
