goto dell.com, put your service tag number into their screen and it'll give you all the relevant drivers you need.

How come?
Although the creative drivers are beta, I have two different creative cards with machines running vista with no problems at all (gaming pc & media center).

go into device manager, is there an '!' over the icon?

Also, what make/model is the sound card (can be found from device manager). it may pay to update the drivers for it just in case.

Right i think mine has just gone up the spout.

Plugged in a set of headphones still no sound, would this mean that the sound card is bust. Seems strange as one hour it was working and the next it wasnt. :boggle:

Anything i can do just to confirm it is the soundcard and not the speakers?
