Its up to you (the user) to make sure (via the networks website) that you can get signal everywhere you require it. Its not the networks fault if you don't check and then can't. If you've moved house maybe they'd be nice and let you out of it but they certainly do not have to.

my girlfriend works in a mobile phone shop, the only way to get out is if t-mobile can support you on the signal(saying there is poor signal) then they normally do let you cancel your contract. where did you get your contract from she works at carphone warehouse and they do insurance which allows you to cancel your contrat after 9months if in an 18month agrrement.

No, because they arte prociding the signla but presumably the materials used in the contruction of the building are blocking the signal.. or mmaybe your employers are illegally blocking mobile devices?

Does this apply if its caused by the buildings you are in? I work for Sky and it seems that the area is ok if you are outside, yet as soon as you step foot into any of the buildings its gone! I'm on Orange, and at 1st thought it was my crap phone, but a collegue laughed at me when he found out & told me Voda & 3 are fine, and also O2 I believe...

If you get no signal they will be able to see it and then they are not fulfilling their contractual obligations and will have to let you out of the contract
