He is. Fastest you get is 12mb/s and thats rubbish for transfering stuff to your ipod. | |

Fastest firewire is 800mb/s but as above, i'd check which connections your ipod has as the dropped it. | |

Usb 1.0 is something like 12mb/s and 2.0 is 480mb/s. | |

Should be yip, make sure it has drivers for whatever OS you are using but that shoudln't be a problem either. | |

Usb 2.0 pci card, I would personally go to ebay, shouldn't cost more than about a tenner. | |

I have USB but not USB 2.0 which I could do with for my iPod. |
