mine was fine till i formatted. now if the usb gets knocked i get cut off. | |

get an external USB hub (self-powered), only about £20 - £25! (USB-2 compatible) | |

if it is a USB modem, you might need a self powered hub. Ive heard some stories about them taking more power than the standard motherboard USB sockets can provide. | |

i think that your modem driver may not be up to date? or you might need a new modem!! try downloading the latest drivers and update it before reformatting, u2u me if u get more trouble :thumbs: | |

I keep losing power to my modem resulting in my connection being lost. Ive recently formatted the computer and reinstalled the modem. |
