I have an iPhone 4 on 3, and I can create a personal hotspot for free.

Didn't realise you had to pay for it on other networks, I assumed this was free with the latest iOS on all networks.

Just jailbreak. I use MyWi all the time on my iPhone --> iPad 2 when out and about.

No point paying when you don't have to :o

If you are on the new simplicity tariff (if your out of you initial contract you should be as its way cheaper than the normal contract) then it includes otherwise its an extra bolt on.

Jailbreak and you can get it for free with something like PDANet same as any other android phone (and like them your breaking the terms of your contract)

But can't do much else :look:

Just jailbreak it, won't hurt it and can always reverse the process

Aye, my £15 per month HTC phone can do this out of the box.

you can contact your service provider and ask them to put an add on to her contract so she can tetther from one to another, ive been told its about £10 a month extra

why dont you just jailbreak it and you can do it for free?

Must be an iPhone tethering app. Not sure but on my HTC you can do it as standard.
