eSATA really isnt that important and with new USB standards being released (i.e USB3), I think eSTATA will drop off the radar shortly. | |

Thats ok then. Just read a review with it saying sony were being stingy by not adding it and just wondered if it was something really important that i may need. | |

eSATA is to connect SATA devices, usually hard drives externally. Can also be DVD drives as well | |

e SATA = external SATA, which is an external connection for attaching stuff like hard drives. | |
