No your completely right - Im just saying that technically a 1000W has the capability of pulling 83.3333A @ 12V

in book it says 'ALT 100A: electric cooling fan, ALT-S??? STOP, FOG, TAIL, HTR?? (heater?) AM1?? DOOR, DEF?? and POWER?? fuse

Yup - im a sparky - i know these things.

Take a ring main for example. Its only wired in 2.5mm (rated at 22A) but the fuse/breaker is rated at 32A - simply for the fact that a ring main is doubled up with cable.

can i hold u responsible if i blow me car up?:lol:

Tiger

Nah, it will work. If the pressure on the ends is all the same you should be ok.

i need some fuse wire that is rated at 100amps, but ive only found any 30amp stuff, if i twist 3 strands of the 30amp together, will that be the same as 90amp fuse wire, or is that just being silly?
:boggle:
