What were you making peak power at about 5700?

Mine had headwork by the engines previous owner so I never experienced any break downs! Plus I had a eds inlet manifold and top hat which flowed air a lot better, coupled with eds cam! Also the mapping was done by RStuning who I've got to say are the dogs bollocks,

One thing that puts me off them engines is how crap the blocks are for exploding chunks out of them. Not really sure the head flows as good as a let/xe one either really.

I beg to differ that a z20let C is slow , A freind has one and his is only running 220 bhp and even thats fast . Couple people on ccuk have them running garrets with 350+ bhp !

quote: worth the drive, hes good. £2995 he does it for. ive seen C's go for around £500. you wont get a decent one already done for less than £4k and even at that price it would probably need some work

would rather just to buy one done and just fiddle with it, i live in the north east mate, warren is like hundreds of miles away .

Find a cheap 1.2 and send it to warren, pretty sure he's doing drive in/out conversions for not much money, then mod it to your taste (or leave it looking bog standard for more lols)

i loved mine, been most reliable car that ive owned to date, only problem i had was when the turbo died a week before i put it up for sale. whiteline rear antiroll are highly recommended to be fitted aswell to improve handling

£3k would probly be a bit shit. Ive wanted one for ages but can't justify the funds at the mo. Few choice simple mods and they can see 250bhp + that would dink dank do for me
