I have watched this loads of times, 100% real.
Think about it, the car is preped before hand and only has to drive 10m.
I done understand why you would think its fake?

- Welded dif so only 1 shaft needed, shaft dosent had to be 100% inline as its only got to move 10m so put it on a sliding coupling or somthing.
- Any wiring and Fuel lines on quick release ends or a single twist plug (if you even needed fuel lines as you could preprime the engine before starting)
- Engine cradle made to the engine just sits rubber engine locators (you can see the hooks on the engine just to pick it out)
- no water or rad needed as only runs for 30secs at most
- no exhaust needed

REMEMBER it dosent have to pass a MOT, it has to move 10m under its own power at 3mph.

I would go as far to say i recon with the right planning an with the new quick release technology out there I recon that times not hard to get near.

You wouldn't need to connect the radiator up to drive such a short distance

Radiator? Water pissing everywhere?

My thinking is as said in other thread, locked diff so only need one driveshaft and you could probably remove the circlips on the shaft to aid removing and fitting it. ie the shaft will fit further in the joints so making it shorter and easier to fit .. it only has to drive a few meters. Things like starter wires could be modified to push on connectors etc.
