Originally posted by Ojc 1.0 16v? Where did that come from in GM's part bin? I don't know of any models with that engine, obviously the 1.0 8v are just variations for the 1.0 8v found in the Novas with added EFi
Actually the 1.0 8V became from the european 1.2 8v downsizing. I had a Corsa B Wagon with 1.0 16V but it was not good in lower rotations. It was a too heavy car for a small block. Now, reading the comments, I want to add that here in BR there're some engine upgraded Corsas B really powerfull and this GSi tryed on everything related on performance mods. Literally a laboratory car. Some mechanics studies a lot and go deep in this matter. There are 2 more cars with small blocks (1.0 8V) that have incredible results. One has 245HP and a Celta with high compression head and twincharged system got 308HP.
