With cams and inlet manifold they are happy to rev 8000ish :) | |

Someone else can hopefully confirm what the rev limit is on the 1.6 (think it's 6500 for 1.6). I know they do seem to rev quite low, which is why on paper peak power is lower than similar 1.6's. Hey guys I'm in Australia and am looking at buying a 97 Barina SB GSI for my first car which I'm pretty sure is a Corsa Sport over in the UK. Its got the 16V twin cam 1600 in it, and purely out of curiousity - I was just wondering where the 'red line' and rev limiter is. Any help would be great, thanks! |
