Thats a very good price, the dealers margin will be so low he won't want to give much away. can't see you getting any clothing worth having. Try and get some little bits though, tank protector, alloy tax disc holder etc...

I paid £3200 for my 99 CBR 600 last year.

There is a Bandit 650, its new out the later ones came in 600 and 1200s. There is also a Bandit 250, 400 and 750 these are Japanese Imports and theres a good few knocking about especially the 400s.

When I bought my bike many years ago we got a similar deal, the dealer chucked in the jacket and helmet with a small discount, just out of courtesy mainly...

Bandit 650 :boggle:

Must be new :) looks nice-ish. He'll need a nice can, renthals at the least imoin but ideally nice carbon hugger, bits like matching levers and gear selectors etc they can look really nice especially if you lift the back and street fighter the front end :D

Any decent bike will wipe the floor with any car let alone a Corsa.

My dad has a 1200cc Bandit, its faster than a Corsa.

Was thinking they only do a 6 and a 12. I'd not have either tbh would be a sports bike for me :)

Sounds like a good deal tbh. He's got the 1st service in which is good, and AA cover etc... Good deal.

I think he'll be hard pushed to get more from a dealer, but you can always try...

PS - Bandits suck, tell him to get an SV with that ncie Vee Twin Ducati style engien note  (but then im biased).

.. a mate of mine has just passed his test and is looking at getting his first bike.

He's seen a Suzuki Bandit 650 K5 in a local shop for £3695.

This is brand new (not pre registered) and includes PDI, registration and 12 months road tax, 12 months AA cover, 1st service paid for and free use of a courtesy bike when yours is in for a service

Does this seem like a good deal and what elese should the dealer throw in for free, for a car I would be looking for flaps and mats, but this wont work on a bike

Any opinions or advise?

He's never bantered with dealers before so hes turned to me for help and I know nothing about bikes!!:boggle:
