depends on the condition of the engine and who does the conversion. most xe conversions are constantly going wrong, i fix on average 2-3 a week round my way (somehow every garage in the north east has my mobile number and ring me when a car comes in for a conversion:lol: ) | |

Ive just bought my self a 1.6 16v gsi engine with 62k miles with uprated cams and verneir pulleys and ecu and transponder for £200 bargain realy...i was gonna fix the 1.4 lump but cant be arsed | |

i dont like the idea of puttin an engine in a car that i know nuthin about, just want to be able to fit an engine and have nothing go wrong for a change plus if i done it id fancy some tb's | |

got a 1400 and somethings buggered up on it. changed loads and its still shit lol so whats involved in fitting a 1600 bottom end with the 1400 head?? |
