Originally posted by Rob_Lee yeah so why are you saying its pointless for him to enter the fast car group? You dont know his driving skills? You dont know what his car is capable of! Its all down to the drivers confidence! If he doesnt feel confident going against faster cars then he should enter standard cars... but this isnt to say there wont be very good drivers in that group!
I've already said, if he wants to go in the fast group then do it. I agree 100% a good driver makes all the difference and a good driver in a slower car can hassle someone in a faster car. Though since this is butlers first track day, my car can kill 106 1.3 Rallyes and I don't consider my car quick, and knowing what sort of quick cars you can get at track days - I was just offering some friendly advice. It was infact you rob who got on your high horse, saying I don't know your 'Skillz'. etc. I care not of your skills, since butler asked the question and I'm assuming butler will be driving. I could be wrong and it may be full of 'slow shitters' - so it'll be a great day out. Either way, I was only trying to offer some friendly advice, at the end of the day what he wants to do is up to him.
