I own a 1.6 16v 4 cylinder engine. I have a ram induction kit, all that does is takes slightly more air in and i wouldnt even class it to give me 1bhp extra increase. So its very doubtfull that taking that box off will make it faster at all. You would be better off reducing the weight and adding bigger performance mods or just save up and get a bigger engine.

	yeah i think its like a pipe an it only goes to the center of the filter but if u tak it out it gets air to all of the filter so its ment to b quicker

	the only thing that makes the 1.2 8v quicker is to drop it from a great hight... or get the sails out downa steep hill on the M1 ;) 112MPH on the clocks :D :lol:

	i got told if u take 2 pipes off there in the air box 1 on the lid an one underneath the filter an add a panel filter it ment to make it quicker is this true?
