i pay monthly because if you have to change halfway through for some reason you can cancel the direct debit rather than piss about trying to get your money back of the insurers. | |

I always told myself once I got my insurance under the £1000 mark I would never go back over that to insure any car as thats silly money! | |

I got a quote from elephant for a gsi which was about 1450, which i didnt think was too bad. Will ring up my current insurer and see what they say. | |

i only work part time getting about 300-400 a month so couldnt really afford to pay it all at once, which i would have prefered to do. Still a nice little discount. | |

1.2 8v. Was just over £1900 paying £157 per month |
