The 2600 I've got is supposed to run at 1.9GHz (166x12 or something)

it's running at 220x11.5 (2530MHz, 2.53GHz)

mobile chips are best as there the best cores amd make (hand picked for better durability) aswell as being unlocked & able to run on lower voltages :P

I fried my dads mobo when i didnt know what i was doing once, increased the FSB on a standard computer loads and some capacitors on the board melted :lol::lol:

theres sites on the internet with good guides, i taught myself really quickly. You can also get really cool cases too if you build em yourself, like a clear acrylic case with loads of blue lights etc :lol:

we just bought a new pc from dell. Its a really good pc and didn't costs that much. Its worth a look anyway

just been having a look, looks like you can save a lot of money that way, but tbh I don't have a clue how to match the components up with each othger so it will all work :s :boggle:

physically plug the bits together, check the jumpers on the drives and motherboard (drives are piece of piss, and motherboard it might be useful to look at the manual, but you might not even have to change anything), plug in the power cables, turn it on, stick the windows disk in the drive and follow the instruction. :thumbs:
