yes probably when the thermostat opens up like its supposed to when the engine gets hot, that pipe is damaged mate.

turns out that my car isnt actually overheating (i dont think) for for some reason, theres a large pipe that appears to be leakin heavily behind the alternator, and the water is hittin the exhaust manifold n steaming (i think). anyone heard of this before? and how do i stop it, because each time it happens its loosin a lot of water :boggle:
