So around 2" - 2 1/4"

Will probably end up getting a system made up.

I really wouldn't go as big as 2.5" then. N/A engines need back pressure, and with a bore size that big, you will lose back pressure and most likely power too. Not so much an issue on turbo cars etc where they perform better with larger bore exhausts.

I was just thinking the bigger the better but obviously not

Just for a standard XE mate.

Why 2.5" Mark?? Standard XE system is 2" bore. Unless you are tuning it quite a bit, 2.5" is a bit over-kill and you might actually lose performance. 2.25" would be better.

I'm in same boat Mark. I'm wanting a stainless steel one of some type but haven't a clue what to do.

We're best of getting one made up at a exhaust place. Ony thing it'll be pricey but I'm sure it'd be worth it. I'm trying to save up for one as we speak. :)

I guess it's preference.

I've got the original dognut flexi thing that I used a Astra GTE Decat pipe to then fix to the rest of my system.

I see some people have had flexis fitted to the manifold and some havn't.

Why's that?

A long shot i know but keeping my eyes open for a full system including a manifold to match, back box not needed.Must have a center silencer so no straight though systems.
