at the end of the day if your the kind of jealous fella the kind that scratches someone elses motor because you know it looks better than yours yet ya just too lame to admit it to yourself
The current corsa I have (the red one) is going as soon as I;ve fixed it all up & fitted a new engine, etc... I'm not interested in bodykits or mad paint jobs no more, I used to be ok with styling, but now I just don't see the need to spend £200 on a bumper. But I'm all with people who spend the time & money on there motors & do a good job of it, but then again everyone has there own thing, myself, I'm going towards the sleeper-car or wolf-in-sheeps clothing style.
I've been out in there tuned motor's rover/civic/pug/jag & saxo so i know I'm right on this as for turbo'd that would just be frightening however once engine is complete I'll get some pictures for your sad ass then if your still not satisfied
It would be interesting to see what sort of power this engine will be pushing out with the mods you mention, but I warn you now don't get your hopes up of hitting that 200bhp marker, thats more than twice the standard power for the X14XE engine. Like I said earlier, you'd need a hell of alot more than cams, chip, headwork & induction kit to even get close to 200bhp. And if you do, it will cost a hell of alot more than £500, sorry!
you can always be the big man and come down for a race I don't mind infact its all good.
As for myself I aint gona get a kit on my next corsa, its just gona be stripped out, caged, have a LET dropped in to replace the standard engine, aswell as replacing the rear floorplan for one out of a cally turbo so to get 4WD, but this is something which I know will take a hell of alot of time & money to do, its already in planning stages, and getting everything sorted to begin work around feb/march '04. so say 2 years to complete the corsa, maybe 3, I'll be up for a race down the strip
