recording to mp3 real time will use alot of processing power mate, so just get something like cool edit, or gold wave...record it as a wav file. Then download CDEX, and convert the wave file to mp3 :)

If you want to record a few seconds of audio, use Sound Recorder, then download a free WAV to MP3 converter from somewhere, otherwise download something that will do everything from the same program.
