does that encode to mp3 tho, and record from Line in...

If you want to record a few seconds of audio, use Sound Recorder, then download a free WAV to MP3 converter from somewhere, otherwise download something that will do everything from the same program.

recording to mp3 real time will use alot of processing power mate, so just get something like cool edit, or gold wave...record it as a wav file. Then download CDEX, and convert the wave file to mp3
