i changed my battery for a more powerfull one about 4 months ago! i havnt got a sub but do run 6x9 from a amp of the head unit so its not really drawing much power! unless the alternater is fcuked!

m8 my car has being doin this jumpy revs thing for a while now. Basically wen I depress the clutch or take it out of gear the revs will drop down to about 200 then come back up to idle..850ish. But I'm 90% sure its either the battery or the alternator...because either of these is what gives the sparks their sparks and if they ain't working properly then the engine is gonna nearly conk out everytime. Now just about 30 mins ago I turned my engine off in a macdonlds carpark and had the headlights on after I turned the engine off for about 5 mins, wen I tried to turn the engine back on the battery was completely dead! not any life from it at all. So for me anyway its either the battery needs renewing or the alternator just isn't charging the battery.

try givein it a sevice, may be the plugs as u say, reset the ecu and run some injector cleaner thru it! c what that does! end of the day if it dont solve it ur cars had a full sevice and a invector clean! mine runs so much better after doing the above!

just clean the valve matey it get clogged up with black gunk which might prevent it from closing or opening properly, i did this on mine and to be honest it didnt work i replaced the valve and that still didnt fix it!!! It turned out to be a great big bloody hole in the inlet trunking.

No not really, remove battery, undo header tank move it to the side, undo the fuel inlet and out let on the fuel rail and if ya lucky you might be able to get a tool to the 2 screws, if ya carnt you gotta remove the top of the inlet manifold!!!
