Or if you have an exhaust you could just get a straight through pipe (removing Silencer) for £50ish and that will make a nicer noise and is still cheaper than the BFO :D

Hmm yeah is a slight price deference. but if its noise and turning of heads you want. Get BFO cone.
Also you will have a nice non mangaled Air box for putting your car back to standard for a sale :)

Drilled airbox is best. I can notice the extra ooomph its given the car, response is excellent and makes a lovely burble noise like an Impreza Turbo when i put my foot down. No flat spots and definately pulls better all the way through. Induction kits are pants.

im gonna save it and use it for what i really really want :)....so is BFO loud? does it affect economy? when does noise pick up? etc

the problem is airboxes look wank and theres no way they r as loud as a bfo for example....

Depends wot u want though, if ur not bothered about showing ur engine bay or really loud induction then drilled airbox is better alternative to slight power increase.

i'm sure if drilling the airbox made that much of a difference companys would sell pre drilled airboxes.buy a bfo loads better:thumbs:

- why not just drill the airbox and get a panel filter

 - why not just drill the airbox and get a panel filter - cheaper and proven to be just as good, if not better in most cases :D
