I thought that but... does the fuel get fed from the bottom of the fuel tank of from the top of the fuel level via a float? | |

more petrol in tank, more gravity to push the fuel down, less strain on fuel pump, this was a theory told to me by a russian sheep farmer | |

Apparently it's not good to run the car till there's hardly any petrol left, even tho I do, but 1/4 tank shouldn't be any worse... | |
