mine sounds like a sack o shite, at 87k, mainly because the inlet tappets are fooked.....doh!!! | |

doesnt have to be vauxhall stuff. Just a quality oil. Castrol magnatec is good. | |

thats just normal vauxhall. The hydralic lifters do this in higher mileage cars. No panic. Just keep the oil changes regular and it will be fine. | |

big end bearings will rattle when driving, it wont be smooth under load, not just when its started. You should be able to hear if the noise is coming from top or bottom of the engine. | |

mine does the same, 1.4 spi, 90k, but is fine after a few seconds | |
