Well ideally would want et49, but think the alloys I want are et45. I don't want to get any shocks or dampers, am hoping to run standard with just lowering springs. I thought u couldn't go lower than 40mm without replacing the whole suspension ??

How about Eibach ?? They any good ?? says they lower 45 - 50mm. I am only getting 16's, my main concern is rubbing. I don't want to / can't be arsed with rubbing down/ cutting back arches. Thats why I don't really want to go lower than -40mm. Would 50mm drop be ok on 16's ??

you can lower more than they if you have the correct offset on your alloys...

: when I have got some money..... thought all I had to do was get the springs and get them fitted, that would be no probs. But then you told me about the probs you had and the extra (£200) money you had to pay....... thats put me off it for now :(

I want to get some lowering springs. I want to lower 40mm and was looking through the pvd catalogue and found apex ones. I thought these would be ideal, but was told they don't actually lower to the full 40mm. What other springs could I get which wont cost the earth, but will drop 40 ??. And I only want the springs.

Thanx guys
