Like he says do that, but i had an idea of putting alarm LED's in the blank, so it looks like it still serves a purpose :)

i took off the door card, cut the metal rod, fibreglassed the hole in the door card up and retrimmed the doors.

it cost me 3 quid for material too do all 4 door cards and a tenner on glue.

i totally removed 3 door pins and the drivers one i cut the top off so when locked it sits flush with the door card, filled the the top with filler and just brushed a bit of black paint on, very quick easy job.

would be piss easy to do, but would look crap with a hole in teh door card so you would be best recovering them thus getting rid of the hole where it used to be

The last 2 attempts of knicking my car was from bending the door open and pulling the pin.

I know i could just remove the pins completely, but I wanted to smooth it over and make it look good.

Anyone done it?
