Don't think the fault is stored unless the light stays on for more than 30secs!
Had loads of problems trying to guess the fault on mine as vaux aint got a clue.
All the bits ive changed so far have had no effect as it was still playin up.
Replaced me fuel pump relay yesterday and is ok at the moment, should know for deffinate in a month as the problem is intermittent.

Go to a vauxhall dealership and ask them to put tech 1 on it and find out what the fault code is. It is most probably the same thing as my corsa, my engine management light comes on for about 30 secs and then goes off.It is not consistent and does it every now and again, i put tech 1 on my car and it turns out that theres a fault with the lambda sensor.I have got to replace it but they cost £75 for a single wire sensor. If the lambda sensor is not working properly then it can fcuk the cat up if left.get it checked out asap!oztek
