Remove all the paint and crap first,if the brackets not therei should just pull out bud.

Is the box painted? Looks like the bracket is there but held in with all the paint around it?

Yes bolt and clamp is missing,probably some crap around the oring seal making it stick.
WD40 and be careful pulling it out because it may snap and that means gearbox apart in worse case.

From that picture to me it looks like the bracket isn't there? But yeah the speedo drive does pull out although I found mine easier to remove when the box was split as the diff and speedo ring arnt putting pressure on it.

Also make sure all the threads are clean and screw on the cable for the clocks before putting too much back into the engine bay .. It's a right pig to do otherwise especially if you've big hands like me lol

On my f20 it was just one bolt And bracket come
Out easily for speedo sensor to push in.

On my let I have this




Very hard to get at, and don't seem
To be any kid of gap around bottom, does it come out?
