Get a multimeter on the other end of the wires you've cut off.

It'll be 2,3,5 or 7 you need though, i'd just touch them until the hazards come on.

Any help on this one.
Current hazard switch has some 7 wires going into it.
The button I have has 2 connections.

Heres an image of the rear of a hazard button.

Need to really get a grip of what does what.
Ive figured there will be a positive and negative, wire from LH side of car and RH side of car, 2 (?) wires for the bulb in the hazard switch itself... but thats all.

2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.

Next question - how would i go about connecting the wires i need to keep (because obviously i dont need the wires for the bulb in the switch itself) to a button with only 2 connections?

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks. Marc.
