youll have to get some one to hold the cams if thats what you mean as the compression will be pulling them on each other

The marks do tend to point slightly "inside" of the cam cover marks.

ive done this but what im trying to say is that the cam pullys toe in too each other slightly i just want to know if this is corect or not, as the car runs fine when started, but when first starting i get a slight pop and bang out of the inlet side then il let of thenm start again and it will fire up ok, and i have no engine light coming on at all??? its bogling me as to what it is, as it seems as tho theres no lack of power

has anyone got any detailed pics as ive done my timing and i think im slightly out,

when aligning the cam sprokets up i thought that they went to dead on twelve O clockbut when checking it i found that the inlet cam went towards 1 oclock and the exhaust cam went slightly towards 11 oclock, like i said if anyone has any pics of on timed so i can have a look it would be much appreciated

Cheers

use an air gun and a decent snap on socket! will reduce rounding off.
