probably it goes pretty flat when you squash it and you can rip it into thin strips. think it works better when its filling a space really not sure what it would be like under the carpet. | |

Would loft insulation fit under the carpets etc? | |

tried carpet underlay. it doesnt make any difference really. loft insulation is great. makes a massive difference to road noise also. going to do it to the new one when im changing the seats. | |

how heavy is foam filler i was thinking to put some in the rear arches and wheel well (i have a false floor) | |

i stuffed the rear quarters and boot pannel and wheel well with loft insulation:) | |

Dynamat or Ivonhoe Sound Deadening is apparently quite good for this, I will put a bit in the XE when I sort the rear out. | |
