mine failed once as i changed the little white clips behind the light, and when i put it back in, it trapped some of the wiring loom behind the light, preventing it from sitting properly, the bottom was sticking out, it was proper hard to find out why really, and no matter how much they adjusted it, it wasnt enough.

yeah the beam would only be messed up if it was higher/lower at one end

quote: That sounds like a load of bollocks mate. Their alignment tool is supposed to be able to adjust in height. What do they do when they get something like a Range Rover in? Fail it because it's too high?

There is a bit of adjustment by loosening off the 2 bolts which hold the headlight in. Not much.

Adjust them with the controls on the lights.

Just got the corsa back from an mot and it's failed on a few minor points, one of which is the headlight aim, they did suggest that because it's been lowered (40mm on nova shocks and springs) it needs some sort of physical adjustment of the whole headlight unit. Anyone else had this come up and what did you have to do to get it sorted? |
