Easier with a 20XE as the bellhousing is readily available to use a Ford MT75 or T5 box.

even an rwd xe would probably be not that quick, due to transmission losses??

a much better option would be a hayabusa engine in the back on a lsd

Would run like crap. It would be so bad to drive, BUT... To do it you would use some pieces of Ford Sierra. If you were paying we would charge like £10k, but if you were DIY'ing it then you could half that, maybe even less.

plus wouldnt RWD be slightly overkill for a 16xe? unless your going massive spec in which case why not 20xe/let?

quote: Do you mean, wouldn't be that bad?? If so, are you aware that the engine would need to be put in longways. That would be a bit of a pain to mount. Then you'd need a rear axle from something. Plus a propshaft, plus a tunnel to run it in. Then re-route the exhaust so that would be custom built......not worth it.

the engine transplant would be so bad but rwd now your going to need a fair sized wallet for and alot of head scratching
