remove the gearbox (10 min job) and remove one of the clutch cover bolts. stick a small screwdriver or strong drillbit through the hole (try and get the hole to about 11 o clock position) and there is a space in the block which the bit will slot into and lock the flywheel in place.

You will also need the engine well secured, maybe wedge it against somthing and jam some planks in from either side.

If you have the gearbox off then bolt a piece of metal onto one of the gearbox bolt holes and have it do it jams into the fly wheel tooth.

If the gearbox is still on then put a small piece of metal in one of the teeth of the flywheel and jam it in the starter motor.

Then get a BFO leverage bar and give it some 'who are ya'

how the fluck do i get it undone?
engine is out of car, just turns the crank etc when i turn it :( tried to lock the assembly up by using a screwdriver through a hole and into the teeth, but then i succeeded in rocking the whole engine over rather than undoing the bolt :(

HELP!
